Horsetail contains a significant amount of the silicon compounds. The presence of silica makes the green stems of horsetail rough and fragile, and during crushing in the fingers produce a “creaky” sound, hence the name of this plant.In turn, the English name of horsetail refers to its appearance and sounds “horsetail”, meaning a horse’s tail. Interestingly, horsetail comes from plants that grew on Earth in the Paleozoic era. They had the form of giant trees, and today’s creak looks like their miniature.
How to use: 1 tablespoon (about 0.7 g) pour a glass (200 ml) of boiling water and steamed for about 15 minutes. The product should not be consumed by people with hypersensitivity to horsetail.
