Couscous from durum wheat

 Couscous is a traditional dish of African and Arabic cuisine. In Arab countries, it is a symbol of happiness and wealth. It is made of hard durum wheat, it has the form of balls with a diameter of approx. 1 mm. Making couscous takes just a few minutes. It can be served with mutton, lamb, beef, poultry, smoked fish, but also with vegetable dishes. It is a great base for salads. It taste great also sweet with dried fruits.

How to use: To a half glass of couscous pour half of the glass boiling, slightly salted water or hot milk. Leave under cover. After about 5 minutes. couscous is ready to eat.
